THE SESSION SLIDESHOW
When Amanda first contacted me she said she was looking for a photographer to capture their lives as they are right now, including all the spunk that their 2 boys have.
The truth: if you use the word spunk in your contact form you can guarantee that I’ll do a little happy dance on the other end as I read it. Spunk is one of my favourite personality traits! And it’s also a really good reason to have an in-home session, as spunk and sitting still just don’t jive.
Amanda also told me that they’d never had family photos and that her and Ben had never had any professional photos together. Time to rectify that!
This session took place in their cute little east Edmonton home where we spent a morning together playing Hot Wheels, constructing puzzles, playing in the backyard, making and eating scrambled eggs, brushed teeth (random, but leave it to a 1 year old to decide that needed to happen right that instant), ball hockey and some cuddles. Yes! All that in under 2 hours! Every time I leave a session with 2 kids under 3 I tip my hat to those parents as they are constantly running! My girls are busy, but they have nothing on these little boys.
