“The littlest of details of our most regular day.” That was the answer to the question I ask every single client.
If you could only have one image from your photo session what would it be?
In this one question I can figure out the whole tone of a session. It gives me something to strive for during the time we are together and also allows each photo shoot to be unique all on its own merits.
This session was so ordinary and extraordinary at the same. For starters, it was 8 hours. I arrived while everyone was just waking up and left in the late afternoon after a swim in the hot July afternoon sun. But more importantly, it involved so many special things for this family. Like breakfast at The Red Goose. Have you been? I’m guessing not, but you MUST. It was the cutest restaurant/time-warp and the food was just like your Mom cooks. And then, just like the Brown family did, you can stroll across to the park, then come back and hit up the bakery (where cookies are the size of your face!). The best, right?
(And if the mama in these images looks at all familiar, that’s because she’s a rockstar of a birth photographer - Vannessa Brown.)
