THE SESSION SLIDESHOW
I've photographed each of these families separately, so when they decided it was time to photos with both sisters, their spouses and kids and their parents, we wanted to create a photo session that felt different than their previous in-home sessions.
We went back and forth on multiple outdoor Edmonton locations, but ultimately settled on Mill Creek Ravine as it has the best of so many worlds - water for kids to play in, forested areas, bridges to run across and wide open fields for large family portraits.
The family all spent some time tossing rocks in the creek and then I spent time with each set of parents and their kids to create casual portraits for them of their own family.
We finished up the evening with watermelon (and beers for the adults - yes, we can do THAT during a photo session. 😉) and soccer in the big wide open field.
