THE SESSION SLIDESHOW
Kara is another Edmonton newborn and family photographer who also a seriously talented painter (and she combines the 2 art forms effortlessly), who has 3 enthusiastic girls and a husband who clearly adores them all. I really do have to pinch myself each and every time another photographer takes a leap of faith on me.
Our day started out with a living room dance party (also something that happens in my house on the regular!) and then moved into drawing in the kitchen. Ok, honest moment….I can’t even draw a decent stick figure. I am pretty much the worst player at Pictionary as only my mom can guess my drawings, so this family completely put me to shame! Their drawings were seriously impressive.
In an ode to their heritage, they then made some jazzed up bannock, and played outside while the bannock cooked. As I left them for the morning, the house smelled of delicious fresh baked bread and the kitchen was erupting with girl giggles while talking about the latest episode of Riverdale.
