fiddle leaf photography
Nov 6, 2019
I’m feeling the need to evaluate, plan for the future and try new things. I have a ton of ideas in the works for 2020 (dare I say too many things? Probably!) and can’t wait to share them with you.
In the meantime though, I’m resurrecting an old series that I had going a few years ago called Fiddle Leaf Finds.
Once a month I’ll write a new post with the things I’m digging right here and right now. Since I know we tend to like a lot of the same stuff, I’m guessing you might be into these things too.
No affiliate links. No selling anything to you. Just me sharing what I’m loving.
Ready?
Here we go…
MUSIC
This album from Patrick Droney is on constant repeat. Fave song: Brooklyn. I even have my kids singing along to it now.
Food
Moscow Mules are my favourite drink, but I’ve had such a hard time finding a ginger beer that isn’t loaded with sugar. I recently stumbled upon Ginger Beer by Zevia. I have tried most of the Zevia drinks and don’t love the Stevia after taste, but I find with these that the booze makes the after-taste disappear. Add more vodka and go to town. 🙂
SKIN
I’m loving this Caffeine Solution from the Ordinary for my dark under-eye circles. (Side note: I still feel too young for under-eye circles….you too???) Warning: it does have a bit of an off-putting smell, but it goes away once it dries.
BOOK
I just finished reading the entire Selection series by Kiera Cass – all 5 books. If you like the Bachelor and books that are quick, easy reads then give these a go. These books won’t change the world, but they are a good escape when you need one.
BUSINESS
This isn’t a new find to me, but in case you are in business too and haven’t discovered Ash Ambirge of The Middle Finger Project, you must check her out. Her emails are always inspiring and I’ve actually found them getting better and better over the last few months. (This week’s hit home with me.) If you like business advice that’s direct but also hilarious, then the Middle Finger Project is for you.
And since sharing is caring, if you’re into something you think I’d be into, please comment below and let me know! Things are better when shared with friends.
