In the fall, my family and I went to Mexico and I spent the week hating every single bathing suit I brought. One was wedgie-rific, one couldn’t stand up to a kid clinging onto me in the pool and one dug into my shoulders the whole time. I came home and said, “Enough is enough – I’m throwing them all in the garbage and starting again.”
I caffeinated and gave myself a good pep talk and then took my winter-white legs into a store and decided I wasn’t leaving until I found at least one suit I loved. I was sweating and sometimes swearing, BUT, I walked out with 3 new suits (this one is my fave of the bunch – basic but 👌). I stuck with it. I didn’t give up. I didn’t tear myself down.
Then, a few weeks ago we went to Mexico again and this time I wanted to LIVE in my suits. What a huge change. Finding the right fit is magical. Really.
What does a bathing suit have to do with photos? (No, these sessions will not feature anyone in their bathing suit. Stop panicking.).
It’s about fit. Finding the right fit – the right photographer for your family. Finding a fit that doesn’t feel like a wedgie. It can take a lot of trial and error, but when you find that match…..ohmygod, you’re walking out onto that pool deck with swagger.
Now, picture this: A pro photographer who can dial down the anxiety and make everyone relax. Someone who allows you to be in front of the camera and simply have fun, not stand there nervously wondering what to do next, but instead, allowing you to live the memories.
You found your fit.
Here’s the deal: finding the right fit can be tricky. Maybe I’m it for you. Maybe I’m not. One of the best ways to figure out if we are a match is to start small. With a little outdoor session that lets you test the waters.
Outdoor Spring Short Sessions are open for booking!
And, they’re the perfect way to figure out if I’m your fit (your confidence-bosting 👙 perhaps?).
