Well friends, here it is! My very first video blog. I’ve been talking big about starting this video blog series for far too long, and I finally just ripped off the band-aid and did it. When I sat down to write a blog post about why I was quitting Facebook, the cursor and blank screen just stared back at me. I had so many thoughts but couldn’t figure out how to succinctly put them into sentences. So, it seemed like the perfect time to prop the camera up on a stack of books (I’m just that fancy!), clear off a little corner near a window, and sit down on a Friday night to chat to you.

Fun facts about this video blog:

• It took me 4 takes to not stumble on my words.
• During take #1, my 5 year old daughter came down and asked who I was talking to.
• I opened up a bottle of wine after it was done.
• If you stick around until the end you’ll be rewarded with bloopers (there’s a lot of me staring into space searching for words!).
